Police have arrested Opu and his colleagues on charges of assaulting, harassing and beating people in capital’s Uttara area. Opu (20) and his colleagues Nazmul (21), was arrested from Uttara, police said. Police produced them in a Dhaka court seeking a three-day remand. The court sent the two to jail. According to police sources, Opu and his accomplices beat up some locals in Uttara area evening and a victim later filed case. Police said that engineer Mehdi Hasan Robin was driving with three friends in Sector 4 area that evening. At the same place, Opu and his associates were making videos on the street. Robin blows the horn as the road is blocked. Enraged, Opu and his accomplices beat them. Robin and two others seriously injured. At trial, the court sent them to jail.
