Roman Sana is a Bangladeshi sportswoman. He won a bronze medal in the men’s singles event at the 2019 World Archery Championships. He became the first Bangladeshi to win a medal in the history of this competition. Also, won a gold medal in the individual event of the Asia Cup Ranking Tournament held in the Philippines. Now Roman Sana is a Bangladeshi ‘Hawkeye‘ His regular job is to hit the Bulls Eye, which is 70 meters away. Roman Sana has taken Bangladesh to a unique height by shooting arrows at the Bulls Eye. Roman Sana, a Bangladeshi archer, was born on June 6, 1995. His birthplace is Koyra in Khulna district. Roman Sana’s father’s name is Abdul Gafur Sana. His father had a small job. Her mother’s name is Beauty Begum. Her mother is a housewife. The youngest child of the parents was Roman Sana. He spent his childhood in Koyra village of Khulna. As a child, he played with bamboo bows and arrows. Roman Sana, a ninth class student, was involved in archery.

Then, in 2008, the Archery Federation’s talent search camp was going on in Khulna city. Roman Sana, a ninth class student, came to watch the game. Seeing the interest in archery, the vice president of the college Mr. Hasan Sir explained the rules of archery to him. On the opening day of the camp, Kazi Rajib Uddin, general secretary of the federation, announced that there were prizes for the highest scoring archer. Roman Sana won the first prize that day by participating in the competition for the first time in his life. From there, he started giving trials and today he has taken his place.
Next, Roman Sana was caught by coach Sajjad Hossain. Coach Sajjad Hossain brought him to Dhaka from there by force. Roman’s parents did not agree. Roman Sana also had a great desire, not even that. Football was his favorite. So the parents did not want to leave their young child easily. But coach Sajjad Ahmed forcibly brought Sana from Khulna to BKSP. So, Sana left football in the tide of fortune and started archery. In 2014, he joined Bangladesh Ansar as a soldier. The company promoted him to Lance Naik in 2020.

Sana made her archery debut in 2010. In the same year he took part in the first international competition. In the 2013 Bangladesh Games, Roman Sana won the gold medal both individually and as a team.
